Lung Functions

I asked my clinic for a list of all my lung functions since I have been going to the Adult CF clinic. I am currently working on retrieving my results from when I was followed at Sick Kids, but for the time being, this is what I've got.Also, please keep in mind that these are the numbers from the hospital ONLY. I have not included any numbers I have blown at home on my own meter! :)


FEV1-Forced Expiratory Volume in One Second - The amount of air which can be forcibly exhaled from the lungs in the first second of a forced exhalation.
FVC -Forced Vital Capacity - The amount of air which can be forcibly exhaled from the lungs after taking the deepest breath possible.
